Wonderful post. Remember: don't fight, be calm and demand respect. I hope I don't hear about you guys that you said "Respect me, bitch, or else!". You can imagine that you're 50 Cent inside your mine, but try to have an articulate conversation.

J: No, to get respect you have to EARN it. My time is valuable. What I bring to a relationship is valuable. Unless and until you make the time for me that I deserve, then don't expect me to fall all over you begging for your time. I don't have time for people who claim to be too busy for me.
G: Hey, my time is valuable too. I don't want to take crap from guys like you.
J: Well, There you have it.

(I signed off at this point. She messaged me 3 times overnight and the next day.)

G: Are you hiding from me again?

G: I don't even think you will like me... As demanding as you are!

Hey man, despite her claims of the contrary she likes your intransigeance. Push further, don't next, you're close to it.
Keep going this way, and go towards something like 'I won't believe anything from you until you show up at my door'.

About 30 seconds after I hit the "send" button, there she was, on the ICQ giving me her work phone #, and asking me to call... Seems she wants to take off from work early on Wednesday. Well, I told her I had a golf match on Wed, and Thurs would be better. Lo and behold, she said "Fine, Let's go have a drink and get this going face-to-face."
