Whenever you give a straight answer to an HB, you are doing two things: robbing the interaction of the surprise and fun that it might otherwise have, and giving the HB intelligence that she can use as leverage over you. The more leverage an HB has over you, the less attracted she is going to be to you.

Examples:

Q: What do you do?
WRONG answer: I'm an equity analyst.
RIGHT answer: If you had to guess, what would you say I do?
another RIGHT answer: I seduce women in bars (with a straight face that melts
into a smile, and a light touch to her elbow if she laughs).

Q: Do these shorts make my butt look big?
WRONG: No, of course not. You look great.
RIGHT: Are you kidding? They make you look like you have TWO asses.
RIGHT: Gee, I don't know...we'll have to get a control ass in here to make a
scientific comparison.
RIGHT: I dunno...what does your butt look like WITHOUT the shorts (smile)?

Q: What do you think of my friend Kate?
WRONG: She seems like a nice person. Smart and pretty.
WRONG: I don't like her very much.
RIGHT: Why do you ask?
RIGHT: What do YOU think of her?
RIGHT: Am I supposed to think something of Kate?

Are you beginning to see the pattern here?

These answers presume direct conversation, but if you're communicating through e-mail, a chat, or sms, you have the additional advantage of being able to duck questions entirely. Don't respond to all the messages you receive. If she sends you an e-mail with 8 questions, answer 4 of them. This may seem like a violation of basic courtesy, and it would be in a business context, but this is seduction and there are different rules. Trust me, the world is not going to end if the HB doesn't get an answer right away. If she really, really needs to know something, she'll ask again. You can always claim that you were busy with something else and didn't have time to read the message, or that there was some
technical problem and you didn't get it. Make her jump through hoops to get information.

Newbies, make the following resolution: for the next month, no HB is ever going to get a straight answer to any question she asks the first time she asks it. Later, after you have made a habit of playing games, you can occasionally throw out a straight answer. This unexpected candor and directness will keep her on her toes, never knowing what to expect. That's the way you want it: girls like it when they don't know what to expect. When you become predictable, you become boring and unattractive.

So, to sum up: every time you answer a question directly, you are (a) showing yourself to be a boring person, (b) taking away some of the mystery that surrounds you, and (c) giving the HB intelligence that she will use to increase her leverage over you. All three results make you less attractive to the HB.
